ESPN extends its sanctions against the University of Minnesota for winning

As long as I can watch the game on ESPN2 (which I can), I am not gonna complain about who is at the microphone.

Too many complain if we have no game televised, and if we do have it televised, they complain about the announcers. Sheesh!!!

Galloway is worse but you don't have to listen to him nearly as much as Mowins.

I do think some people are bundling in Mowins in with Pam Ward. I'm not a fan of Mowins by any means, but she is not complete dog sh!t. I'm honestly more bothered with Galloway's color commenting than Mowins' play by play.

I don't get the hate on Mowins. She is a huge upgrade from Ward. Sure, there are small moments here and there that are rough, but you could say the same for just about every announcer. I don't mind listening to her at all.

Galloway is the real stinker of the duo. No emotion, doesn't know a thing about game strategy, and has horrible take after horrible take.

Honestly, I feel bad for Mowins.

Todd Blackledge as analyst with Brad Nessler as play by play have no peer. They are the best in the business as a tandem. All substance.

Yeah, man Crouch was a train wreck during last week's game. His interview of the IU baseball coach was so bad it was great. I have no idea how he managed to get that job, but anyone who brings him back for another season should lose theirs.

Gotta pretty much agree with this. Mowins actually describes the action fairly competently. Galloway is just awful. Banal cliche after stupid take. My favorite was the NW game when he thought it was a terrible idea to put Nelson in for Leidner in the 1st half because Leidner hadn't yet established confidence. Whisky Tango Foxtrot? He obviously had not done the least preparation for the game to find out about our QBs ahead of time, but even if he did know nothing - really? That's your take? There's gotta be a lot of guys better at this than Galloway who could do it.
