If you really want to have some fun, go to Google, start typing "Beth Mowins", and see what the options are that pop up. However, if she mixes us up with the other school one more time, I am going to start calling her "Joey Galloway."

Beth Mowins sounds just some women from Minnesota with that harsh annunciation. Everrreebodeee went to the storrrre. can't stand it but she isn't the worst for content.
 

It has been said before here by some (perhaps Darren the Greek or Ski U Mah Gopher), but I do think some people are bundling in Mowins in with Pam Ward.

I'm not a fan of Mowins by any means, but she is not complete dog sh!t. I'm honestly more bothered with Galloway's color commenting than Mowins' play by play.
 

I'm just thankful Ed Cunningham isn't doing the Gopher game. Biggest know it all on the planet.

Todd Blackledge as analyst with Brad Nessler as play by play have no peer. They are the best in the business as a tandem. All substance.
 



Just drink every time Beth or Joey call Minnesota "Penn State" and after the first quarter you'll be drunk and Beth will actually start to sound hot.
 

Could be way worse. We could get Eric Crouch. Is that guy way over his head or what? Don't think he'll be back next year.

Mitch Leidner, a quarterback, and Philip Nelson, at Minnesota, have done quite a bit in their game to become one of the starters. They're still looking for a lot to do, but they haven't done that yet."

"I didn't get the chance to get the huge update...Christensen did go to the hospital...but I did find out...he is wanting to be a doctor. I know he's very smart..."

If you ever get a chance to watch the 1981 game against OSU--it's the worst PBP and analysis ever. Terry Hanratty is horrendous.
 




With Beth and Galloway, I make liberal use of the mute button.
 


I will attempt to get the TV and Radio on the same spot and listen to Mike and DT. Anybody had any luck with this?
 




I knew this winning thing was too good to be true.
 

I've lived through the dark days of Pam Ward and Dave Lee. Watching an entire game where Minnesota is pronounced "pen st-ate" is a walk in the park compared to that.

Plus, I only see home games in the form of recorded DVR material anyway.
 

I gotta tell you I can't stand her. Her nasal tone and all. what is with the BTN for having her on the air anyways? Can someone enlighten me. I used to see her on womens college softball and thought wtf...........Now she's doing college football????

Never works for me at home, but that is by choice. I always end up pausing the game to go get chips, drinks, whatever, and then the radio (and GopherHole) are ahead of me. I just skip through the commercials and get caught up quickly, so I'll just be in the basement biting down on a leather belt, and muddle through.
 

Thank goodness I will be at the game so I don't have to hear either one of them!
 

Yeah, man Crouch was a train wreck during last week's game. His interview of the IU baseball coach was so bad it was great. I have no idea how he managed to get that job, but anyone who brings him back for another season should lose theirs.

BTN doesn't have any explaining to do. Beth and Joey do games for ESPN2.
 

Never thought I'd say this but I miss AggieVision. Glad I'll be at the game!

all the more reason to buy some tickets and be there in person!!!
 



This, I'm glad I will be at the game so I don't have to listen to Galloway blather on and on about mtaching socks, calls the team the wrong name, or sideline huddles, or calling our players
the wrong name. Galloway must be proud of that tOSU education.
Mowins isn't that bad as part of the tandem (just kind of nasal sounding), it is Galloway that makes the TV crew for a Gopher game like getting sentenced to punishment.
 

I wish Minnesota's own Brad Nessler would get assigned to one of these games. I like to listen to that dude.

Galloway is worse but you don't have to listen to him nearly as much as Mowins.
