The Gophers and Michigan are the real wildcards in the Big 10 race this season. Can these programs under 2nd-year coaches build on the surprising quick success they enjoyed in the nonconference season, or will they take a step back? The Big 10 will be more of a grind this season with the improvement in the middle and at the bottom (save for IU).
Beilein or Tubby, who will get to the NCAA tourney first? They both might make it much quicker than some of us thought (myself included), but they still have to take care of business in the Big 10.
