I stopped reading after I read "I think Eliason will be fine defensively in the middle, he might have been a little better than Mbwake"
Half the time last year it looked like Eliason was going to trip over his own feet while on defense?
Something tells me you don't watch to much, Mbwake was good rebounder but against the bigger centers he was overmatched, good power forward but he wasn't playing center because of his defensive capabilities, Eliason moves well in the middle, occupies space, and changes shots, not much on offense but a pretty decent defensive center, won't be able to clear the board like Mbwake could, team rebounding will be needed, I'll take Eliason as a defensive center any day over an out of position Mbwake.
