Love it. Preferred walk on- what's not to like? It is great to see a kid with faith in his own game, wants to go as far as he can, and is willing to risk it. Maybe the kid outworks everybody and matures into a solid player!

Is a PWO more likely to get a scholarship now with the transfer portal? Seems like the possibility of a one year scholarship might be greater given the fact that teams now hold spots open for transfers in the spring and they don’t always get filled.

He can get a healthy NIL from someone and give some practice competition to the starters.

Apparently a confidence guy who thinks he can make a difference on the Gopher Squad. Hopefully he'll pan out and reach his dreams.

These are the kind of guys who can help in practice immediately, and possibly develop into contributors. If he is 6-9 and can shoot, he had to have had some scholarship offers somewhere.
I agree. This is the kind of kid who in a few years is a contributor and possibly earns a scholarship.

Great PWO!

He may be a late bloomer who will develop and earn a scholarship. He has a nice size and athletic moves. More importantly, he wants to be a Gopher!
