Eric Decker and wife Jessie James featured in big GQ spread

Everytime I see these things on Decker and James, I get a little more queasy. I haven't been keeping up on them but by looking at those photos (why did I do that?), I'm guessing they will soon have a kid? Given how they have handled their relationship to this point, I'm assuming we can soon look forward to plenty of staged cute baby pics as well and more subject matter for their TV show. I prefer to remember Decker as a gritty Gopher Receiver. This, well, this is just something I normally would poke fun at if it was a non-gopher.

Those photos... yikes.

Has anyone watched their show? If so is it as bad as I am assuming it to be?
 


Yes, Eric, you and your wife look like you're just a plain ole' every-day couple living a boring every-day life. I'd say it looks like the young man from Cold Spring did pretty well for himself, but you know what they say about every pretty woman. ...

I attempted to watch the first show and it was hard to watch, I ended up turning it after 15 minutes. I usually like that sort of thing but it was bad.

A daughter is on the way. The show is not bad. Hump and Decker are two of the most reasonable people that have been on reality shows. They're not punching people and dealing with drug problems. The show isn't going to last as Decker is anti-drama.

I watched all their shows, and as huge reality TV fan (yep, I admit it)...put it this way, if it wasn't Eric Decker on the show, and the fact that he played for the Gophers, I'd never watch it. He is really normal and boring and she tries to be a Jessica Simpson type and really tries to hard. Yes, they are beautiful...but not as interesting. It did get picked up for a 2nd season, but it took a while. Unlike Total Divas (about the women of WWE) that was a runaway hit.

I too, love Eric Decker as the gritty WR from Cold Springs.

I am all for Deck living it up right now and taking advantage of whatever opportunities come his way. He is getting noticed for his play on the football field and if he can combine that with some good off the field stuff as well more power to him. Now if only he could figure out how not to get tackled by the turf monster he would be truly living the dream. Still can't believe he tripped on that awesome punt return last week that he would have housed.....:)

If my memory serves, that could have been big too, cause I'm pretty sure they didn't get points on that drive? A TD there could have darn near put SD away. He does seem to have problems running in open field though haha, and both times against the Chargers.

On another note, $145 for jeans that are torn up to bits? Over $400 for another pair? C'mon now....LOL

I think that was the same drive that Deck had a pass from Manning bounce off his chest in the End Zone. Not a great series for him but he has turned into one of the better WR in the NFL and has posted really solid numbers the past 2 years. He certainly benefits playing in the Denver offense with Manning but I think he has proven he is a quality WR and should have a solid NFL career.
