Epic Upset Brewing in IA City. Ind 7 IA 0

Stanzi? 4 Ints in ONE QUARTER??? WTF???:eek:

I don't know...that last personal foul call was pretty obvious ;)

I disagree. The IU player clearly lead with his shoulder. It is not his fault that his head is connected directly above his shoulders which caused his helmet to accidentally come into contact with the Iowa player's helmet.

Helmet to helmet?! What a joke, this is embarrassing. He purposely lead with his shoulder!

I stopped watching after the personal foul...but go IU!!!! The Big Ten is a joke...and I'm talking more about the refs and the integrity of the league than anything else.

Worst officiated game I've seen in a long time.
Must be making a new Buffalo Wild Wings commercial.

He had the ;) going on = not serious.

Sorry, I didn't explain myself very well. I completely agree with you. The fact that they called that hit a personal foul makes the referee's intentions pretty obvious, not the personal foul itself. Sorry for the confusion. That was another bad call.

This complaint with the refs and integrity of the league is being leveled with the SEC, as well. Whether true or not, the appearence of cheating is becoming real. We NEED an 8 team playoff for the championship. Yea, I know the ninth team would be upset (just like the 65 team in basketball), but no one with a straight face could argue that the ninth place team deserved to be placed in the final game. But, often the 3rd, 4th and 5th place teams can make that claim.

I think Lynch might be working even harder physically than his players....:)

I wouldn't be sad to see Iowa lose, but I was kind of hoping we'd play them undefeated, and we were the one's to crush their hopes.

This is now officially one of the craziest games I've watched in quite awhile......

No worries. My bad for not getting your sarcasm. I just can not get over all the bad calls against IU.

Doesn't that helmet to helmet apply to situations when the player being hit is "helpless" like a QB throwing?

are we going to have the same wind conditions tonight?

Can anybody remember a game where a team commits six turnovers and is still leading by more than 10 points heading into the later stages of a fourth quarter??

"That must be jelly cause jam doesn't shake like that"

Wow, first time I have ever heard that.

I almost hate to say it but Iowa is looking like a team of fate right now. I little help from the refs doesn't hurt either. But still when you win all of your game after about looking like they are going to lose you gotta think something a little bigger is going on.

Go back to the first page of this thread and see what I wrote, ooooo, 3 hours ago. If you thought Indy had a chance, you were just kidding yourself.

I had a feeling. It'll be on the BTN's "greatest comebacks". It's been Ferentz's year. I remember feeling like Indiana quite a few times during the Mason Era. Now we just lose 55-0 to Iowa.

Indiana did get ripped on a few calls, no doubt. The one where the IU player caught in the back of the end zone had his foot down and control. The one where they ruled TD, then overturned, I thought that was the right call. It appeared his knee hit out of bounds first. Close, and I'll have to look at it again.

That said, Iowa got the lucky bounce on the TD off the pinball Int. IU also completely imploded in the fourth qtr, and two blown coverages. Plus, Iowa completely shoved them back in the last qtr.

We got a bit lucky, but I'll take it. Oh, how do you not call helmet to helmet? Even the announcers agreed with it, and the one against MSU was also H to H.
