The Athletic also predicts Quick Lane vs. Northern Illinois.

Seems likely at this point unless one of the scenarios plays out above whereby the B1G regains the Reliaquest but keeps OSU and PSU in the NY6. That would probably put Minnesota in Nashville or Vegas much to the dismay of those bowl organizers, lol.

There are a number of scenarios to avoid Detroit. But I’m not sure how likely any of them are:

Bama beats Georgia. Bama makes orange or playoff. Georgia makes orange or playoff. Instead of Ohio State. Big ten still gets 3. Plus Reliaquest.

Crazy stuff happens. Louisville over Florida state. Ok state over Texas. Georgia over Bama. Washington over Oregon.
Playoff is Michigan, Washington, Georgia, Ohio state.

Iowa beats Michigan. Iowa clinches NY6. Penn state makes it anyways. 4 in new years 6.

Louisville beats Florida state or Ok state beats Texas or Ole miss jumps penn state.
If 2/3 things happen, penn state is likely bumped down. Then we are in random ass bowl

Good call. Like most years, we’ll wait to see how it all plays out on Saturday…follow every shred of news…then still likely have no idea until 3 or 4 pm on Sunday, lol!
