Eleven B10 Games left. How many more do we win?

How many more corners (wins) in the B10?

The stretch run and then some.

As the Sparty game is Tuesday, I’m going to to leave the poll open until next Saturday, so people who don’t come on regularly can still participate.

I’m going with 9, as the Sparty game is the only one that’s daunting now - quick turnaround, on the road and they’re a good team.

We get the Illini & Sconnie at home - only two ranked teams left as of now. I think we’ll beat st least one of them.

Well this still leaves us shy of SS 22 W NCAA threshold, we’d have a decent chance pick them up in the B10 tourney if we finish above,500 and playing good basketball for that long.

So you're predicting we finish the BIG season at 12-8?

I went with 5 but this season could go any number of directions. If the team keeps playing like this the potential is there for more. On the flip side, if Garcia gets dinged they could go winless.

Came up with 5 based on having 5 remaining home games - hopefully we can go 4-1 in those and then steal one on the road from Penn State or maybe one of the California schools.

But in the end it is so hard to know how this will all play out. Before the MIchigan game we were all wondering if they would even win a single Big Ten game. Now, after knocking off a couple of legit ranked teams the sky feels like the limit. Will be interesting to see how it all shakes out.

Could all come crashing down at anytime but going to enjoy this little surge of quality basketball while it lasts.

I’m in for at least 7 more wins based on the play of the Gophers in the last three games. This is a changed team from what we saw earlier this season. No more of this just moving the ball around the perimeter waiting for someone to make a play. Seems like everyone has stepped up their own game and they all are playing with more confidence. Whatever it is I hope it continues. Go Gophers!

I went with 7 too. It's not necessarily what I think they will do but it's what I hope they do.

I think this number is attainable. We played a very front-loaded conference schedule. After the next game (Michigan State), we have only 3 games remaining with teams that are among the top half of the league (Wisconsin (6-3), Illinois (6-4), and UCLA (5-4)). The remaining 7 games feature one game with a team having a .500 conference record right now (4-4 USC) and 6 games with teams having a losing conference record as of today.

Yup - I’m likely going to be wrong, but being wrong doesn’t bother me. I like the possibility it could happen - hope is powerful force in my experience.

So more irrationally
I put 11. I dont think so, but I keep thinking with the winning streak has put a damper on some of our friends on here.

Let’s give em something to talk about.

I honestly have no idea. Voted for 6 more which seems very attainable the way we are playing right now, brand new team.

Anything between the 3 through 7 range wouldn't shock me...

8-9 would be stunning, as would only picking off another 1-2.

Likely a little high!!

I went with 5

i went 0-2....i think we beat Washington and 1 of Nebraska/Northwestern

anything more is all gravy

Guessing how the next 11 games are going to go feels about as predictable as the lottery. The last 3 games show heck maybe 9 wins is possible, first 2 months mean 2 is possible. I won't even try to guess. I will say at this point you have to tune in because none of us know from game to game what the product is going to look like, good or bad.

I’m guessing grades aren’t assigned, it just for fun

Im just taking it one at a time. We are now top 100 in Net (96), which I believe makes us a quad 2 loss in the barn and on a neutral court and a quad 3 loss if we pick up a road win. We are 3-6 vs quad 1 teams (Big ten opponents), 0-2 vs quad 2, (North Texas and Wake Forest) 1-1 vs we had 3 (Wichita State and Yale) 7-0 vs quad four. Outside of Washington who is quad 3 I do believe all of our other games are quad 1 and 2 opportunities here on out. Huge opportunity tomorrow

I voted 3. I'm sorry for my irrational exuberance.

lol....I voted 5 but this was 100% one of those 5 so not feeling great about the chances of getting there after today.

That said, there is not a ton of separation between the bottom feeders so with more of them on the schedule maybe we find a way to win a few.

It's somewhat easier but they likely won't be favored in any remaining game. Plus how long is Garcia going to carry the team befoe he says #$$$ it and disengages again?

They have four home games left. I don't see them beating Illinois or Wisconsin. Penn State and Northwestern are bubble teams so those are no better than toss-ups at best.

For road games, I don't see them winning at USC or UCLA. They might steal one out of Penn State, Rutgers and Nebraska. So two more wins feels about right.
