Granted, the defense was a significant part of the problem today but this offense has been tough to watch.

Until Gray shows that he can do more than heave up jump-balls for D. McKnight, the Gophers are going to see these 8-man fronts EVERY SINGLE GAME. As it is, this is a very easy offense to defend.
 

He wouldn't have to throw jump balls if we had wrs who could get open down the field. It's not like he is missing guys streaking down the field wide open.
 

I actually did think he missed wide open receivers on multiple occasions, the good newsis hew was not throwing into double coverage.
 

One would think Lair would be a useful weapon when facing an 8-man front. He was sure quiet yesterday.
