Interesting - I posted a thread earlier that had a youtube of an interview of Edsall last year on college football live during which he talked about defense and special teams. That was a year ago.

Seems to be paying off once again for UCONN tonight.
 

Davie just said UCONN worst facilities he's ever seen.
 

Postgame interview - just an observation, but Edsell doesn't look or sound like a guy who's leaving.

They never do. But in any event, I'm not holding my breath on any of these guys, just let the chips fall where they may.

That's great to see though, if he is our next coach, how he basically just took that program and now won a Big East title and is in a BCS game.

I was thinking the same thing too. But I'm not sure what that guy sounds like "yeah.... it was a fun game. But.... can we hurry this up? I've gotta a plane to catch..."
 



He should have said: Loved being here. Good luck to the kids. F Connecticut, I quit this b1tch.
 

After watching the second half of that game (and doing some basic research on Edsall), I'm pretty comfortable with the idea of it being between Edsall and Petersen.

do you think I'm sitting here buggin' out and biting my fingernails? It was just an observation. I would love to have Edsall, and any of six or seven other guys. As long as it's one of them, I'll be happy - Edsall or no Edsall.

you're parsing the words of a guy in a 15-second post-game interview trying to find some hidden meaning behind them. I'm simply pointing out how ridiculous and pointless that is.
 





Hyperbole, sure. But I guess I'd rather have them saying that about a potential Gopher coach than any number of other things.
