I don't presume to know what is and isn't acceptable for conversation within other contexts.
Your race, and indeed race in general, is irrelevant for what is acceptable in public -- the actual context of this thread that you keep pretending can be ignored.

You don't want honest discussion.

Disagreeing with you = dishonesty apparently.

People of other races use language among themselves - in public, in music and other entertainment - that would be offensive if I used the same language. It’s not offensive if they use it with each other. Apparently. I might find it jarring, but I don’t say they should find it unacceptable because of that.

If it's in public, which includes in public music and public entertainment, then by definition it is not "among themselves".

It’s not offensive if they use it with each other.
That's a private discussion, and so completely irrelevant to the thread.

Not over....

I wonder if those some parents would have an issue with Trevor Mbakwe.

Let me guess, it's worse for a white coach to quote someone else saying the N word than it is for a black coach to assault a woman during a sexual assault and it's just the way it is. Enough said. If you disagree, you must be DESPERATE to say the n-word.

We're you there during the Mbakwe incident?

If he did something so bad, why did the DA recommend the case be dropped if he complete an education program?

Nope, I wasn't there when OJ cut off his wife's head either.

The DA didn't recommend that charges be dropped against OJ though.
You know the DA could have just dropped the charges right? Why do you think they required him to plea?

Then the guy almost made two full years without harassing another woman and violating his probation.

But you're right, quoting someone else saying the N word is way worse.

He sent a Facebook message to his ex-girlfriend...which violated his probation on what you call an attempted rape. He says he's innocent...but he took the 1-year probation (he was 10 days away from completing it) instead of going through all the hassle & expense of a trial.

Let's simply be clear about all this.

I didn't say anything about the N-word stuff. I think that's all politics & gotcha games.

Also, it's important to note that the big 'assault' charge would have been completely cleared from his record if he wouldn't have messaged his ex-gf for 10 more days.

He violated a no-contact order against someone who was afraid of him (another woman) which violated his probation for what DADE COUNTY, FLORIDA call an attempted rape for which he pled no contest.

You think after a year long investigation he decided to take a please for assaulting someone during a sexual assault to just avoid the hassle? LOL.

This isn't a thing that just happens to everyone.

You think this is an argument for him? LOL.

The man convicted of beating a woman he was attempting to sexually assault could have gotten it taken off his record if ONLY he could have avoided not violating a no contact order against another woman. LOL.

We've all been there. . .

Part of taking the plea had to do with him being allowed to play here. Maturi wouldn’t let him be eligible until it was resolved I thought? Not using that as a plea for him being innocent, but it certainly could’ve been a motivator to resolve it.

He was the guy that was recorded barking " hey white girl". Really great guy.

Part of me wonders if behind the scenes Trevor is helping push this along? Seeing an opportunity to become a head coach in one of the state’s premier school districts? A couple disgruntled parents doing the dirty work for him?

If he wanted to be the head coach, then Flom wouldn't be back. I don't think this is a one-time, as others think. All the black players quit since he was reinstated. I can't be the only one who thinks there is more to it.

We should consider the facts. All the facts and info that we know.

But if you want to go argument and say things like his ex was afraid of him...I can go full Johnnie Cochran & Robert Shapiro on you and bury you. I can say things to make an obviously guilty OJ look okay...I'd tear you apart about condemning an innocent Mbakwe.

Also the no contact was for him and his ex-wife to not talk to the ex so maybe it wasn't him who was the issue in that situation

I don't think all of the black players quit. I think they had 5 at the start of the season. 5 minus the football player who enrolled at KSU, minus who is still playing = who is behind this lawsuit.

I don’t know anything specific about this, but it was reported the a kid left due to the suspension, mot the reinstatement. The report implied it was because Flom was not there, and he felt it unjust.

I do find it a stretch that Trevor is behind it, mostly due to who one of the ringleaders that is a part of the potential suit against EP is.

Her end goal seems to be wanting it to result in that, but I don’t think he’s behind it.

The kid that left went to KSU for football. He was leaving regardless & the other kid who quit was his son.

That’s the kid I was talking about. I read somewhere he was gonna stay to finnish the season. then when Flom was suspended, he felt it was junk and chose to leave.

Although, who knows if that is actually correct. Thought you might be plugged in and know better info.

He planned on leaving in January regardless. He was taking extra classes to make sure he could graduate early

I guess I'm confused by this....

They have 1 that stayed and 5 that quit & 1 who went to college
