It's time again, time to eat our opponents!

No, not like that! It's time to eat our opponent's mascot, in this case, the Auburn Tiger. I'm having some difficulties in finding a recipe for how to cook a tiger. Turns out, it's not a common ingredient. I did find a recipe for mountain lion. It would probably work for tiger, but you might have to cook it more slowly.

I did find recipes for Tiger Prawns. Prawns are a lot easier to find.

If you don't have the ambition to cook, there's always Tony the Tiger's Frosted Flakes. Just don't call them "good."

And if you don't have any cereal, you can always go to Outback Steakhouse and order the Blooming Onion. Outback has declared Coconut Shrimp to be the Gophers appetizer, and the Blooming Onion to be the Auburn Tigers appetizer. Go ahead, order the Blooming Onion - you'll be literally eating our opponent's lunch.

Should we be eating tiger or war eagle? I'm confused. Maybe both? I couldn't find any eagle recipes.

I did find a recipe for Magic Cookie Bars from Eagle Brand Condensed Milk.

"This bar cookie is an old fashioned favorite. Chocolate chips, nuts and coconut are set in a caramelized layer on top of a graham cracker crust."

  • 1/2 cup butter or margarine, melted
  • 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1 (14 ounce) can EAGLE BRAND® Sweetened Condensed Milk
  • 2 cups semisweet chocolate morsels
  • 1 1/3 cups flaked coconut
Directions
Add a notePrint
  1. Heat oven to 350 degrees F (325 degrees for glass dish). Coat 13x9-inch baking pan with no-stick cooking spray.
  2. Combine graham cracker crumbs and butter. Press into bottom of prepared pan. Pour sweetened condensed milk evenly over crumb mixture. Layer evenly with chocolate chips, coconut and nuts. Press down firmly with a fork.
  3. Bake 25 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool. Cut into bars or diamonds. Store covered at room temperature.
