looks very good playing at Mich St... Good game, good TV.
 

Thanks for the heads-up FT! I usually find out about good early season games the next day...
 

Seems like MSU is playing sloppy more than anything else. They're missing tons of shots around the basket and are committing quite a few unforced turnovers. That being said Gonzaga looks solid and is able to pound it inside rather effectively.
 

So much for the the top 25 at this point -- Gonzaga isn't even listed in the top 25. They have a dude that is 7' 5", he looks like Paul Gasol's younger brother... and ... he can play... along with another two 6'11" players who look really good....A huge team with good guards....another good year for the Zags. Sam Dower hasn't played yet if you were wondering.....

Gonzaga started off with a ton of energy. It was amazing to see how many rebounds and loose balls they beat MSU to. Let's see what they have left in the tank in the 2nd.
 


I'm a 1L at Gonzaga. I love having 2 great basketball programs to cheer for. GO ZAGS!

The Zags are definitely my second favorite team. Adam Morrison is probably my favorite college basketball player of all time. He was incredible, even if he was/is a bit... odd.

And MSU is my 2nd favorite team - we can start quite a rivalry! This game is giving me an ulcer, I'm on the edge of my seat!!! Go IZZO!!!
 

Damn, good game. MSU is going to be TOUGH this year. Hopefully the Gophs can put up some better efforts than they did last year. MSU really owned us, more than any other team we played. Can't wait for that Butler game next week! I am also hoping Wisconsin beats Arizona in the Maui Invite so my ZAGS can embarrass BUCKY!!!
 



The one thing that gave me hope is that MSU really doesn't have the inside presence of years past. I think we can run with these guys.

time minutes in this game, due to the fact that Raymar Morgan and Roe fouled out.

He didn't factor into the game other than the fact that he tried to set two moving screens in a 5 second span. The officals overlooked his "screens".

I really like the way MSU plays BB, but Gonzaga is one tough team. They will dominate the WCC this year.

If I were Iowa I'd load up a truckload of cash and send to to Spokane.
 

Anybody know what happened to Dower? He was in a shirt and tie on the bench... (Please no Royce, Mbakwe, or Bostick jokes)

Don't worry, just a redshirt. Makes sense, they have a ton of talent in their front court and he could definitely use some time to bulk up.

I am not creepy, GL. Just an old fart who loves teasing and having fun... Especially when I shop at WalMart. :)

To be honest, I have had a great day. I got up early this a.m. and watched BB on ESPN with coffee. Had to work an insurance claim, got home and watched more BB with cold Miller Lite. Great day of BB, agree?
