Charlie Kirk died from a 30.06. That is enough to kill every single human. People hunt Grizzly Bears with that caliber. He didn't go down easily at all. There are much better examples of people who went down easily if you were hell bent on making some sort of sh!tty joke. There is a pretty famous one right in MN.

To pull off most jokes, even edgelord cringe, you need to have a tiny bit of intelligence. I realize you wanted to celebrate someone's murder whose politics was different than yours in some sort of joke format, but slow down a bit, you might be able to pull it off next time.

Telling me he didn't go down easily by taking a deep dive into how easily he went down is well something but glad you could take time from arguing that Ben Johnson a coward because he didn't get on his knees faster than Erica Kirk to show his gratitude on Twitter for getting fired on a tarmac

Geez, I know you chair force people don't go to college, and typically need a dictionary just to spell the word, but can you at least try and be clever with your insults? I'd like to think you at least enrolled in a high school, but I'm not completely sure. Doesn't take much between the ears to do your job.

I imagine he's trying and if he's successful, we will see 30-year-olds playing their 12th season of college football.

I doubt that happens and I wonder what Pavia's next destination will be. Some pro team will spend a draft pick on him. Looking at the picture of the Heisman finalists, Pavia is notably shorter (but we don't know how the shot was staged by the photographer) than the others. He's listed a 6-0, but he sure doesn't look that tall. Russell Wilson had success as a sub-6-0 QB and Pavia has some similar skills so I'm guessing someone will take him third day. He could be a gadget player ala Taysom Hill.

Politics is quite literally the only thing that many, many people in our country, particularly males north of 40, have any connection to or interest in societally. It's become an informal team sport of us vs them, when the reality is we probably have more similarities than dissimilarities when everything is laid equal.

I've hammered on this often and for a long time, but the creation of 24 hour news networks followed by the widespread availability of internet access and social media, which is 24 hour news on steroids where people with little to no social awareness can spew their uneducated and ignorant bullshit on, is poisoning our country from the inside.

People can find an echo chamber that reinforces the basest of their beliefs and create an anonymous online persona while no longer having to interact with others face to face and defend their beliefs/bullshit with risk of shame because their shit is so insane. And they can say crazy or just plain mean/disrespectful/rude shit with no real risk of loss. And I've been guilty of it myself.

Civil, face to face discourse is dying and we're in danger of going past a point of no return. I worry about the kids growing up in the households of some of the hardcore, antisocial political fanatics. They're the ones who typically end up believing violence is the only answer to solving problems because problem solving with mutual respect at a personal level is a totally foreign concept. The prospect that someone might use education, logic, and influence to slightly sway their opinions? Terrifying.

Don't disagree just wish they would keep it to the places on Gopherhole where it belongs. If I want to listen to people arguing about politics I can find it easily but it shouldn't be in a football or basketball forum. We have plenty of other pointless arguments to have here without having to add the Republican/Democrat BS to the mix.

Another bad sign of a joke is when the punchline is "well something". No matter what side of the political aisle you're on, if your punchline ends with "well something", that's. . . well something. Do you see how awful that is?

Every year Rockraven melts down on one of his burner accounts, the first few of them were at least kind of funny. This one is pathetic. I guess you'll just be stuck with your Twistin account.
