I think it was just when and not if after his uncle was sent packing and his brother de-committed. Honestly he needed a change and so did Nebraska. Will be interesting to see where he lands. 72% completions is nothing to scoff at.Transfer Portal
Telling me he didn't go down easily by taking a deep dive into how easily he went down is well something but glad you could take time from arguing that Ben Johnson a coward because he didn't get on his knees faster than Erica Kirk to show his gratitude on Twitter for getting fired on a tarmacThese cringey jokes work a lot better when they tactlessly make a point that is true.
Charlie Kirk died from a 30.06. That is enough to kill every single human. People hunt Grizzly Bears with that caliber. He didn't go down easily at all. There are much better examples of people who went down easily if you were hell bent on making some sort of sh!tty joke. There is a pretty famous one right in MN.
To pull off most jokes, even edgelord cringe, you need to have a tiny bit of intelligence. I realize you wanted to celebrate someone's murder whose politics was different than yours in some sort of joke format, but slow down a bit, you might be able to pull it off next time.
Geez, I know you chair force people don't go to college, and typically need a dictionary just to spell the word, but can you at least try and be clever with your insults? I'd like to think you at least enrolled in a high school, but I'm not completely sure. Doesn't take much between the ears to do your job.Texan Gopher opened the door at post #2, MAGAt.

Assuming that Pavia can't find a way to get more eligibility maybe he ends up somewhere like Vandy.I think it was just when and not if after his uncle was sent packing and his brother de-committed. I imagine he's trying and if he's successful, we will see 30-year-olds playing their 12th season of college football.Assuming that Pavia can't find a way to get more eligibility maybe he ends up somewhere like Vandy.
Texas Tech seems obvious so we can continue the simulacrumAssuming that Pavia can't find a way to get more eligibility maybe he ends up somewhere like Vandy.
Politics is quite literally the only thing that many, many people in our country, particularly males north of 40, have any connection to or interest in societally. It's become an informal team sport of us vs them, when the reality is we probably have more similarities than dissimilarities when everything is laid equal.WTF is with some of you trying to make every thread about politics? Show a little respect for all of us who have no desire to be subjected to that childish bickering about a topic that has no place on a sports forum.
Don't disagree just wish they would keep it to the places on Gopherhole where it belongs. If I want to listen to people arguing about politics I can find it easily but it shouldn't be in a football or basketball forum. We have plenty of other pointless arguments to have here without having to add the Republican/Democrat BS to the mix.Politics is quite literally the only thing that many, many people in our country, particularly males north of 40, have any connection to or interest in societally. I've hammered on this often and for a long time, but the creation of 24 hour news networks followed by the widespread availability of internet access and social media, which is 24 hour news on steroids where people with little to no social awareness can spew their uneducated and ignorant bullshit on, is poisoning our country from the inside.
People can find an echo chamber that reinforces the basest of their beliefs and create an anonymous online persona while no longer having to interact with others face to face and defend their beliefs/bullshit with risk of shame because their shit is so insane. And they can say crazy or just plain mean/disrespectful/rude shit with no real risk of loss. And I've been guilty of it myself.
Civil, face to face discourse is dying and we're in danger of going past a point of no return. I worry about the kids growing up in the households of some of the hardcore, antisocial political fanatics. They're the ones who typically end up believing violence is the only answer to solving problems because problem solving with mutual respect at a personal level is a totally foreign concept. The prospect that someone might use education, logic, and influence to slightly sway their opinions? Terrifying.
There's your mngg11 on Gopherhole lecture for the day, thanks for listening.
TLDR: We're fucked as a nation because idiots from beyond both ends of the spectrum were given a microphone and seat at the table, and there's likely no coming back sans an extinction level event![]()
Another bad sign of a joke is when the punchline is "well something". No matter what side of the political aisle you're on, if your punchline ends with "well something", that's. . . well something. Do you see how awful that is?Telling me he didn't go down easily by taking a deep dive into how easily he went down is well something but glad you could take time from arguing that Ben Johnson a coward because he didn't get on his knees faster than Erica Kirk to show his gratitude on Twitter for getting fired on a tarmac
He's RockRaven/Twisting - he didn't go to the U.I hope you realize my username is not in reference to a person. You clearly didn't go to the U
Why? No need to drag down a whole branch of the armed services.Geez, I know you chair force people don't go to college, and typically need a dictionary just to spell the word, but can you at least try and be clever with your insults? Every year Rockraven melts down on one of his burner accounts, the first few of them were at least kind of funny. This one is pathetic. I guess you'll just be stuck with your Twistin account.

Is there more we can do other than just put people on "ignore" on this site?Don't disagree just wish they would keep it to the places on Gopherhole where it belongs. Gopherhole used to drop the ban hammer on themIs there more we can do other than just put people on "ignore" on this site?
It seems to me that some people are just miserable and it brings them joy to try to make other people miserable with them. They come to this board looking for a fight. I think they should find a more positive outlet.Im sick of every thread on Gopherhole becoming political. Why aren't the moderators cleaning this up? My comment is directed at both sides of the political asle. This bickering should stay on the off topic board. This crap makes me not want to come to this website.
People who argue politics are idiots. Doing it on-line is a special kind of stupid.WTF is with some of you trying to make every thread about politics? Show a little respect for all of us who have no desire to be subjected to that childish bickering about a topic that has no place on a sports forum.
You can report the posts. Hopefully at some point the mods take notice and issue short term bans to the posters that are so insistent on getting into their political arguments in every friggin thread. It has gotten pretty ridiculous of late.Is there more we can do other than just put people on "ignore" on this site?
Exactly, have enough alcohol to loosen up at Thanksgiving/Christmas and argue politics with a relative, in person, like a damn adult.Politics is quite literally the only thing that many, many people in our country, particularly males north of 40, have any connection to or interest in societally. This is a respectful take. Caring about politics to the extent that you are only able to make jokes from that perspective is boomer coded- a true reflection that the analog mind is perpetually cooked in the age of short form content.Politics is quite literally the only thing that many, many people in our country, particularly males north of 40, have any connection to or interest in societally.
