Dylan Favre

Any of you recruiting hounds know why this kid isn't getting scholarships?
I'm assuming he'll at least get a walk-on offer somewhere. Sure, 5-11 is short for a QB. But, still . . .

I'm guessing 5-11, between 170 and 180, and a 4.9 40 time isn't going to get you that many high-level offers.

That said, I'm sure he'll play college football. Whether FBS or FCS remains to be seen. I have to believe Southern Mississippi would at least give him preferred walk-on status, if not one of their final scholarships, just to get their most notable alum in the stadium a few times.

The Gophers should offer him. I'd bet he can throw a better ball than most of the guys we have. He might just come up here if Brett decides to play another year or two.

5'11" is plenty tall for college football. Take a look at Todd Reesing.

Anyone know how tall Favre's wife is? Maybe he'll break the 6'0 mark after high school?
