Drew Wolitarsky

It's interesting reading some of the replies, as these sites are about one thing, opinions. Sure, maybe I do have an opinion that doesn't agree with everyone on here, but it's what we all do.

Actually, you said your statement was a fact. The points you made afterwards were good points, but it was still an opinion (unless of course you have talked to Drew, his family, or someone else close to the program).

- Iowa, you said "We're going to run the ball two thirds of the time. I don't know how a WR wouldn't know that coming to MN." Maybe they are told something different when they are recruited?

Fair enough, that very well could be true. Who knows, maybe they planned on eventually being more balanced but we obviously have QB issues and have since Kill got here.

Edit: And please continue to post here. I certainly didn't mean to come off as a jerk.

Anytime you can take some stats as proof after two games, you TOTALLY got to do it!

Winning pct.
2012: .462
2013: .615
2014: 1.000

Pretty idiotic, isn't it?

Since when is a .462 record significant or .615? The last data point is ambiguous at best and you have two many significant digits. But, hey, ur edumacated.

The fact that you're calling anyone out for their lack of being "edumacated" while A) implying 2 games into a 12 or 13 game season compared to the previous years having a full sample size is acceptable for a statistical analysis, and B) not knowing the correct way to spell or insert the word "too" is OUTSTANDING!

Sig figs don't apply to an exact measure. What's the margin of error on win %?

I wouldn't argue with Dick S. Anyone who posts 5 in a row is nuts.

Wolitarsky's lack of playing time was because of a poor week of practice:

"One other note: Gophers WR Drew Wolitarsky missed the first game with a shoulder injury and played sparingly in Week 2, on special teams. He didn’t line up at wide receiver.
Kill explained this week that Wolitarsky had a poor week of practice leading up to the Middle Tennessee State game, but Wolitarsky should be good to go today."

Well there you go. Time to move on.

I do agree, time to move on, BUT, The Star Tribune is wrong, he played four plays at WR, and one on special teams. Not sure what game they were watching.

And although I'm sure it's covered in other threads, Leidner stares down the WRs way too much. He rarely if ever checks off, which gives the DBs a huge advantage in thwarting the already weak passing game.

Better luck next week, and I hope they don't take SJ State lightly.
