  • Jeremiah Salem, Joe's grandson (and Tim's nephew), a walk-on
  • Mitch Tomasek, the punter
 

IMO this is a good example of why the Gophers should always go after the best QB they can in the portal if they do not have an incumbent good starter. People thought he was going to be the next up in line and were worried about losing him, but he didnt see the field at a lower level school.

I understand people worry about the new incoming freshman or other QB's potentially moving on if we sign an established QB, but no one knows how anyone will pan out.
 

Go get the best 1 year guy you can get. Leader, accurate, and wants to be a Gopher.
 

St. Thomas is probably next for Viotto, but doesn't Tommyboy's third-cousin's sister-in-law's son play for them?
