Dragan Kesich

Given the strength of his leg (KOs and FGs), I would say he has a good chance.

We should be thankful the portal hasn't come to take him away

Becoming a NFL kicker takes a fair amount of luck in addition to skill, but Kesich is perhaps the greatest Gopher kicking prospect I've ever seen on leg strength and consistency.

He's the only player on the current roster who might have a 15 year NFL career where we're saying to others "I remember when I saw that guy playing college and we could see this from freshman year"

Being an NFL kicker is really hard. 32 spots, very little turnover and there are a dozen guys available at any time to step in for someone who is missing kicks or injured.

To join the ranks as a rookie is hard. Then you get all-pro kickers to come out of nowhere and take a starting NFL spot (Aubrey)

He has the talent. As others have said luck is a huge part of it.

Kickers are so hard to predict some guys that seem like can't miss guys never pan out while others who didn't do a ton in college have long NFL careers.

Kesich has a huge leg....he definitely has a shot of landing a spot in the League after one more season at the U.

He reminds me of Chip Lohmiller and Chip Lohmiller had a nice NFL run.
