Dragan Kesich = Big Ten Special Teams Player of the Week.

Good for him! Tough to be thought of so highly and then struggle like he has this year. Far too talented to not be considered reliable. He picked a good time to come back together. We needed him! Congrats young man!

Nice! Glad he has come out of his struggles!

I was nervous every time he lined up for a field goal and he nailed all of them. I'll admit it... after the NC game, it doesn't matter how many he nails in a row now. I will always be nervous about his kicks.

At some point you have to move past the NC game and realize he has been extremely reliable outside of that one game with the unfortunate missed game winner.

Outside of the North Carolina game he has gone 12 for 16 and 3 of the 4 misses were from 50 plus and the other was 43 yards at UCLA. Even though he has the leg for long kicks I don't fault college kickers for missing 50+ yarders.

Dragon is a really good kicker who had a horrible opening game and unfortunately he wasn't able to nail the game winning field goal and also missed a chip shot in that game. Outside of that game though he has been very much the same kicker he was last year.

He has hit 6 in a row and in conference games he has made 8 of 10.

He missed kicks he should have made outside of the NC game but he has become better as the season has progressed. Can’t beat four for four in the most recent game. I can’t say he has been extremely reliable outside of the NC game but I can say he has improved since then.

I’ll reserve the right to NOT move past the NC game and remain nervous for every field goal attempt, thank you.

Guess it depends on what you define as a kick he should make. Outside of the North Carolina game the only kick he has missed from inside 50 yards was the 43 yarder against UCLA.

Dragon certainly has the leg strength to kick 50+ yarders but I'm hesitant to hold those misses against him as 50+ yard field goals are not a sure thing for college kickers.

To each their own though. If you want to continue to hold one horrible game against him and be nervous every time he goes out there that is your right.

To me he looks an awful lot like the kicker we all felt great about last year. I can live with a kicker who makes 80% of his field goals in conference games, never misses extra points and puts the vast majority of his kickoffs into the End Zone.
