I have written before on this site that I believe that the required donation levels at TCF compare unfavorably to Wisconsin. I've learned from the Badger boards that UW will be raising their required donation levels frollowing the season. Below is a summary of the other donation levels in the Big Ten (taken from another post).
Indiana: Football (NA) / Basketball ($5,000, $2,500)
Iowa: Football ($600,400, 200, 50) / Basketball (NA)
Michigan: Football ($500, 375, 250, 125, 50) / Basketball (NA)
Michigan St: Football ($500, 300, 200) / Basketball ($400, 250, 125)
Minnesota: Football ($500, 250, 100) / Basketball ($1,250, 750)
Penn St: Football ($600, 400, 100) / Basketball (NA)
Wisconsin: Football ($250, 200, 150, 100) / Basketball ($150, 100, 50)
Missing: Ohio State, Northwestern, Purdue, Illinois
Ohio State must at least be $500 for midfield, while the others IMO don't require a donation for football. Illinois may be an exception because they just spent a lot of money on their stadium.
