My biggest problem with Monson had nothing to do with his personality.
My big problem was that Monson didn't work very hard at his job. I seem to recall him admitting as much after he left. That's a big problem for me. I don't like it when coaches or players get millions of dollars and then half-ass it.
Incidentally, this is also why I can't stand pro sports for the most part. That's a big pet peeve of mine in the sports world.
