Does Teague has practice facility plans & donor in his pocket?

I saw a tweet from Glen Perkins, basically saying. "Gophers fired Tubby, better get my check book out." Not sure how to take it.

It's sad that so many members of the Minnesota Republican Party seem to want to destroy the University. Under the "leadership" of Pawlenty the U saw in-state tuition rise to one of the highest rates in the country. Apparently Pawlenty didn't want to offer the same opportunity for ungrad and graduate school that was offered the son of a blue-collar working-class guy from South Saint Paul. The U is one of the best economic generators in the state and if we let cheap politicians continue to short change it the whole state will suffer.

The Univ of Minn is connected to 1 out of every 43 jobs in Minnesota and is the state's 5th largest employer. We should want people to be able to afford to go there.

A while back when everybody was in an uproar he said he'd contribute to the Tubby buy-out fund. Would be nice if he's contributing to that and a practice facility :)
 


The way Shaka is going after VCU about facilities and asst coaches contracts...I am more convinced that Teague has the foundation for the practice facility in his pocket and has money to pay the coaches with multi year deals. VCU is going to have a tough time with this after having did this last year at this time....how much to they really have to put up?
 


Whatever happened with T. Denny Sanford - wasn't it about this time a year or so ago that he was being paraded around campus and all roads to a new facility seemed to go through his pocketbook?
 

We get money from the Big Ten Network. Where does that go?

Perkins already has like a 3 year $9 million contract. Not Mauer or anything, but he can feed his family. I believe he already donated, but to the baseball program.

Great. Someone hit up all the Gophers that have made big money in the NBA recently. Kris Humphies' loyalty to the U runs deep I'm sure....and Joel Pryzbilla's...or maybe not.
