Aesthetically, that is really hard to watch.

The NBA changed the game in the 90's/00's to go to a more skill-based game. Some would argue it went too far, reasonable people can disagree. This type of flopping is considerably worse for the game (IMO), it's hard to watch.

They have rules in place to prevent this. They don't enforce them on certain teams and players. OKC is far and away officiated differently then every other team.

They can change this today. They just choose not to.

After tonight I will now say, NO
MIN showed the league tonight that if you successfully pressure them every single possession, their offensive flow really stagnates.

With Jalen Williams really struggling since coming back from injury, the only true shot creator for OKC is SGA and that can be taken advantage of.

That said, OKC still has to be the huge overwhelming favorite to repeat. Their bench depth is crazy good.

SA handles OKC rather easily!

Welp it’s looking like a very firm no as it stands today. Wild how fast it’s changed with 3 losses in quick succession

Maybe the worm has turned with that.

With the Finch ejection, it was almost like they felt guilty to hand check

Finch has been rightfully ripping the refs for how they officiate OKC since the middle of last year. The whole league knows he's right too.

Free throw attempts last night - OKC: 7 SA: 24
Result 20 point loss for OKC

Charlotte Hornets opening a can of whoop azz on OKC.

The Spurs broke them.
i think there is way more to this than just the one liner. prior to the Ls to the spurs, they played much more physical and had kind of an air of arrogance like they couldn't lose. That clearly has gone away. We'll see once we get to the stretch run, but pretty clear no one is afraid of them now which is good news as a Wolves fan

I watched a decent amount of their game tonight. They seem totally aloof.

They are playing defense like they could care less. It's weird to see.
OKC is such a different team without a healthy Hartenstein. It's their greatest weakness and reason for hope if you're a WC team. Even better, it will be nearly impossible for OKC to keep him as an UFA after the season without moving Chet or Jalen (which they won't do).

If their slide continues, you'd have to believe they might be tied to more trade rumors about acquiring Giannis. Sending Chet or Jalen with a few of their younger talents (Mitchell, Wiggins, Wallace, etc.) and 2-3 FRP's from their war chest of accumulated Draft assets would beat any other offer by a significant amount.

Two games after the first Spurs loss is when they lost to the Wolves when Finch went bezerk. OKC has been officiated differently since.

Like I've been saying all year, when OKC is officiated like the rest of the league, there is very little difference between them and the other top 6 teams in the west. They are very beatable.

CHA was called for nine (9) more fouls last night than OKC but only shot two (2) less free throws. You really have to wonder if Finch's tirade didn't have at least a tiny effect on NBA officials.

If Ant received the same whistle as "FTA", he'd lead the NBA in free throws attempts, free throws made and scoring.

I think it did. I think it’s the best thing Finch has done all year.

It’s not just about the # of fouls, if there is a threat that OKC is going to get more fouls called on them, then they can’t play so aggressive, which they were allowed to all of last year.

I visit another highly active NBA message board a couple times a week that gets around 3,000 new posts every day. Fans of every other team have been singing the praises of Finch and exalting him for what he did.

It's not a surprise that a vast majority of fans league wide are fed up with foul-baiters like SGA and Brunson that make a mockery of the game.
