From the small sample I saw from him if he's looking to get guaranteed a starting job he should look to FCS.
 


UWV fans kept telling us he was the next Joe Montana, or Shane Falco, or Johnny Utah. I forget.

They were consistently negative on him, looking at WV boards and fan chat. I recall them being very negative on their QB before the game and basically ready to tar and feather him after the game.

Announcer commentary in the game itself echoed that, as the crew repeatedly referenced fan negativity toward Doege throughout the broadcast (I was reminded of that just last night as I rewatched the Guaranteed Rate Bowl).
 


Yep, not a lot of love for him at least at the Rivals site. From afar some comparison to Frost's "loyalty" to Martinez that many in the Nebbie fanbase questioned.
