Do we see the gold helmets on Saturday?

Is this considered a special game or are we going to mix it up again with another combo. I am not sure if tOSU mixes up their away uniforms.

It is a special game. Senior day and a chance to go 7-0 at home.
 

If you saw the picture that the equipment guys tweeted with the Jug and Pig together, you might notice the Gold helmets in the background. Based on this picture, I would say the answer is yes.
 

I want maroon over maroon over white. Damn they were sharp.
 



I like the fact we have so many uniform combinations. Part of the fun of game day is seeing what uniform the Gophers are wearing when they come running out of the tunnel.
 

Gold helmets
Orange tanktops
no pants
 

I am hoping for Solid Gold Soul this Saturday. I only wish the gold were a bit more like the gold from the 70's uniforms.

White pants are okay as long as the players wear a contrasting sock up to the knee. The all white looks like they're wearing yoga pants or something.
 



I'd like to see the same combo they had against northwestern: gold-maroon-gold. Hell, I'd like to see that combo every game.
 

We should wear the same combo until we lose. Bring back the long underwear.

I've tried hard to embrace our current gold, BUT it's time to change to a more gold gold. Make sense???

Good helmets, maroon jersey, maroon pants. We won our only game we've played in them so far. Sure, we look like Arizona State, but it's a good look. (Hey, it's working for ASU too!)
 

I predict all Gold head to toe for Senior day.

Same here. We wore all-gold vs. Ohio State in Brew's first season - adding gold helmets would make TV screens bleed.

Since Buckeyes wear white on gray with Gray helmets I would like Gold helmets

Gold helmets, Gold Jerseys, Maroon pants. Don't care if it makes us look like ASU, ASU is winning and the Gophers are rolling.
I wouldn't mind the Gold helmets with gold tops over white pants if Ohio State wasn't wearing white tops with the gray pants. That color with the white pants would blend to much and not give enough color contrasts. Need dark contrasts to go with the overcasts sky and likely gray day we will see Saturday.
Need the maroon pants to contrast the Gold Jerseys and gold helmets if they choose to wear them again.
All Gold in my opinion would not contrast well as shown in the Brewster pictures, blends to much.

Pretty sure the team's equipment twitter account said they'd wear them for a few big ten games. So unless they're planning on wearing them on the road, Saturday will be the day we see them again.
