Dish has been out for 2 hours now this morning. Ugh. Might have to listen to CCO.

Have you try going outside and cleaning off the snow. My directv was out, i had the local channels come in but channels like ESPN and Big Ten network did not. so my dad went out and clean off the dish.
 

Dang. I JUST GOT DIRECTV two days ago. now I have no signal too. My dish is really high up (like 30') so clearing it up in this snowstorm isn't an option. Any way to watch online?
 

If your dish gets snow-block a lot and is hard to get to, buy a super-soaker and some windshield washer fluid. I'm not sure if this works in -20, but it works OK at + 20
 

Man, I was about to saunter down to the bar. Maybe I should call ahead and see if their dish is working.
 


My dish was out all morning too... Just came back on now though, hopefully that's a good omen for the Gophs :)
 


My dish was covered with snow as well. Cleaned it off about 30 minutes ago and getting a signal just fine through the storm. The snow just sticks when it is this wet. Luckily I can reach my dish from the ladder on the driveway.
 

The east metro doesn't have power so I can't watch or listen. Damnit!
 





I saw that! I've never seen it not have one at all. I guess that shows how unpopular it is? I hope they put one up.
 

No signal here either in the East Metro. Think I'll have to climb on the roof and clear some snow.
 



what channel is the game on? ESPN and Big10 both have other games right now...

Followup:
I got up to the top of my 28' ladder and threw wet/heavy snowballs at the dish until the snow fell away. I wasn't all that comfortable that I would live through the experience at the top of that wobbly ladder.

NOBODY can ever call me a fair-weather fan.

Thanks for the ideas, boys. I went out and cleared my dish out. Just an FYI - my 611 on DTV still wasn't working, I had to reset the receivers.
 


Listening to the game, dish is out. btn is out. watching Tennessee on wcco 4 for now.

Try 5440 the non-HD Channel. I 'm watching now but when I go to 9501, the HD feed, the Dish goes out.
