Feel bad for Northwestern? You have to be kidding me. Screw Northwestern.
 

I have no sympathy for Fitzgerald or Northwestern, they have stolen too many games from us and other on a fluke, a flea flicker, a Hail Mary. Pay back is a bummer. 0-5 in the Big 10 that's where they should be.

I don't remember NU ever playing anything but conservative unless the game is on the line. At least with Fitz as HC. Fitz is VERY conservative.

At one point in the game, NU was down to their 6th string RB (a walk-on) because of injuries to Mark, Trumpy, Buckley, Long, and Treyvon Green.
 

I would have preferred NW win that over NEB. I like the idea of Nebraska permanently falling down the ranks from powerhouse to middle of the pack consistently more than I like seeing NW be doormats.
The legends appears to be competitive top to bottom. Makes for a fun season.

I don't "feel bad" for either. Getting empathy when you suck hasn't helped us for 30-40 years.
