Did you just see the end of the Nebraska northwestern game? !

I do feel bad for Pat Fitzgerald. I'm sure he thought the game was won. He's a decent guy.

Why is a safety not standing at the back of the end zone ready to make a play. At the very least get an interference call.

Feel bad for Northwestern. Wish they would have won because that would have helped us in the standings. AMAZING finish though, can't be upset when you get a chance to witness something like that.

That's just dandy. Pot-bellied Ron Kellogg just f'd the Gophers out of Big 10 game of the week.

dang it! they just stole the gophers spotlight for BTN's game of the week, also it would have been nice to see Nebraska loose just so we can get a better bowl game then them and it helps us out a lot if in the legends standings if they lose

Northwestern was very conservative in this game, punting on 4th and short in Nebraska territory a few times. That's not the Northwestern we have seen in the past, especially against the Gophers. That playing-not-to-lose approach got them in the end.

That game and ours today have got to be among those with best highlights today. I think our game will get some espn attention.

In all honesty.....I'm not sure that I would like people watching us completely hand the game to Indy.....just to win on a fluke.

I actually feel bad for Northwestern, I like Fitzgerald as a coach. Tough B1G season for them.

Feel bad for Northwestern, they deserve to win a few.

Yeah, some of their losses have been close. They are not as bad as their 0-5 conference record suggests.

Indiana's O is ridiculous. We played them just fine for most of the game and just got a bit out of joint there late in the second half but who cares, we won. Pass rush is a continuing issue, however. It should be a lot better and it'll end up biting us in the arse.

You look at that play, there were 6 NW defenders near the ball. The one guy who should have made the play jumped too early and it went off of the top of his hands. Little excuse to let the ball tip up. Worse, with all 6 guys in the same spot, no one was covering Westerkamp. Bad D. It's unreal that the Gophers won by luck today, and NW lost by it.

A fluke? Conference wins come hard. To call any win a fluke is to stick your head in the sand and pretend the other team doesn't exist. Worse yet, it ignores all the hard work that was laid out.

My sentiments exactly.

I don't feel too bad for Northwestern. I was in the dome when they beat us on a hail Mary pass, I was there with the Purdue ending and the clock, the Wisconsin game with the punt, the Michigan game, and on and on. The tide may finally be turning.

Go Gophers !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

NW on way down, Gophers on way up. Everybody can't be good at same time.

Never said that we didn't deserve to win. Without that bonehead play.....Indy would have most likely gotten a field goal at least to send it to OT. We could have won in OT as well. Just saying that we didn't have to deal with that because of an extremely fortunate happening. To say that we didn't catch a break there is to stick your head in the sand and ignore what may have happened otherwise.
