Honestly? BPT is the best Corner back we have had here since Wilie Middlebrooks. Not many better in the Big Ten right now than Traye.

Not honest. I was being facetious. Love the guy, but we really need him to step up big time over the next few games. Hopefully, his good play this past week will continue to help him rebuild the confidence after getting yanked against NU.
 

he has been disappointing this year compared to last year, but the guy is good and has the tools to be a shut down corner and make big plays unlike a lot of other DB's that have come before him at this school
 

I was watching PTI last week and saw a player from I think the Dolphins do the exact same thing to his home crowd...needless to say Wilbon and Kornheiser brought it up as a strange thing to do.

I'm not nearly as old as Kornheiser and Wilbon, but I guess I'm in that generation that doesn't understand what the "in" thing is. No one will ever accuse me of being hip, that's for sure. So, I didn't realize that hushing your own crowd was the thing to do now. Still think it is a strange thing to do, but now understand that BPT was simply doing what is in vogue now.

My personal favorites are the throat slitting gesture that the New York Knicks used to do back when they were relevant, or the Mutombo finger wave.
 

ok...sherels was right there to scoop up the ball but bpt ran the fastest i've seen him run as a gopher to get to it...it kind of looked like sherels saw him to and started the "i'm going to get in the way of someone" move...either way, i also was a little confused on the celebration thing but whatev...penn state and ohio state are going to lose...
 

I'm a high school football player ( don't ask where) but be wasn't really telling anyone to "hush". It's more of a celebration were your saying to the other team that your sneaking your way to the endzone"! Or saying to the other team,"quiet... Like someone else said... Ask why would he tell his own student section that! He was jus celebrating..... No big deal, we won so why stress over it because someone feels that he was telling the students to hush! I'm mean come on......did you really ask that? Is that what you really wanted to know?....it's silly
 

Yet another take...maybe BPT is pissed that some in GN...specifically GHers like me who have suggested that his tackling, general run support and coverage seem "softer" than last year...question his toughness/talent and he wants to show his critics that "Big Play" is back.
