Did anyone go see the "Jug"

I just went and got my picture taken with the jug.
 


Sorry if this is a dumb question, but is the jug the players run around with a replica? I find it hard to believe they allow them to handle a clay jug over 100 years old out on the field. I'm guessing the real jug is the one people went and viewed the last couple of days.

It is the real jug at the game.

Wow, that really surprises me. Something tells me the Athletic Department had to reimburse Parking & Transportation Services for it.
 



The real Jug is insured by Lloyd's of London, and locked in a safe somewhere. The one that's paraded around, and the one we've all taken photos of, is a replica.
 

I hate to brag, but this is not the first website I have been to today focussing on jugs.
 


For a 70's comedy Mother, Jugs, and Speed wasn't that bad.

Floyd was on display at the MAC two years ago. Me and the pig look good together.

Why not the same with the Jug on 10/11 for us outstate peons!
