GopherHole Q&A: Devron Bostick Working on D, Ball Handling in Offseason

Devron Bostick had an inconsistent first year in the Gopher program, but the former JUCO Player of the Year takes full responsibility and is working hard this offseason on his defense and ball handling. Nadine Babu recently caught up with the senior to be after a recent Howard Pulley League game.

props to bostick on this one. he didn't have a great year, but he blamed nobody but himself. he's doing what he needs to do, and i think he's capable of being a playa.

He definitely was the most disappointing player last year in my opinion but he did have moments where he was great (very few, I know). I'm expecting a pretty big year from him. When he was hot he reminded me of Westbrook.

I wish the best for Devron this year as many JUCO's disappoint in their first year while adjusting to major college ball. I hope the weight loss has made him quicker and/or more explosive as it is tough to be a scorer on the wing in the Big Ten without either being an excellent shooter or a quck/explosive athlete.

Very nice to see this update on Bostick. I'm convinced he will make a big contribution this season, I just wish it wasn't his last.
