Devoe wearing #34?

I'm watching the stream of the game tonight but missed the beginning. Have they explained why Devoe is wearing #34 instead of #5?
Permanent or a problem with his normal jersey?

His name is on the back

of the #34 jersey, so it doesn't look like it was a late jersey swap.
Has he changed his number over the summer (now that DJ isn't using it)?
He's still listed as #5 on the GopherSports roster.

that was his HS jersey, prolly wanted 34 from the get go but damian had it, now he can have his old number.
