I'll do you one better, and describe the season in one sentence:
What a wasted opportunity.
What a wasted opportunity.
No rule says the defense couldn't have held them to three there. Our offense started the second half getting spotted the ball in great field position after a fumble, and we had to settle for 3.Fumbling the kickoff and spotting your opponent 7 is no way to set the tone for the game.
Helps that on the biggest pass the deep half safety flat out abandoned his zoneBack-up quarterback comes off bench in last 2 minutes and tosses three uncanny passes for a total of 85 yards and a TD and Gophers lose another one that seemed in the bag.
Do you think we should fire him now or wait until the end of the season?Just disgusted by this crap and PJ’s enablers.
Unless Iowa loses two, which they could (Rutgers, Nebraska at Lincoln), and Gophers top Purdue and Wisconsin in Minneapolis, and IL loses one game.Trip to Indy pretty much gone!
Yep...who hired the group of coaches? The athletic directors and administrators. Basketball, same results and coaches hired by the same group of athletic directors and administrators.Fleck, Claeys, Kill, Brewster, Mason, Wacker, Guetekunst, all the same like the last one, nothing ever changes just the name plate on the F'ing door.
I would describe that traveshamockery as being amongst the most Gopher-iest losses of all time, and that is saying something. You can't really get more Gopher-y than that. For a program that finds surreal ways to lose games, we just let a back up QB go 83 yards in 3 plays and we lost to the fat coach for a 10th time.
That's a very likely scenario. I'm not sure I trust our defense to limit us to just one loss however!Unless Iowa loses two, which they could (Rutgers, Nebraska at Lincoln), and Gophers top Purdue and Wisconsin in Minneapolis, and IL loses one game.
