This loss should have been expected by everybody given the disparity in the recruiting levels between UMN and UNC.

North Carolina has averaged top 20 in recruiting the past five years(including 16th, 14th, 11th), has a legendary coach in Mac Brown, the likely first overall pick in the NFL draft, and I would not be surprised if they win the ACC.

I thought that last offseason they should’ve made an outside hire and they continue to disappoint

The nice thing about the co-OC thing is the Matt Simon bobos can still make excuses for him

True

In year 7 Barry Alvarez was 3-5
His conference record after year 7 was 22-31-3
He did have a conference title at 6-1-1 in year 4 though.
