DePaul to Scrimmage Minnesota in Minnesota

Before the college basketball season begins, the Blue Demons will play the Minnesota Golden Gophers in a “secret scrimmage” game in Minnesota.

Minnesota is coming off a season in which they finished 8-23. The Golden Gophers are coached by Richard Pitino, who is beginning his fourth year at the helm of the program. They are led in scoring by 6-2 junior guard Nate Mason who averaged 13.8 points and 4.5 assists a game last season.

Under NCAA rules, the scrimmage is closed to fans and the media.
