Dennis Erickson to Retire?

How about Tom Bradley from PSU, I'm sure they're going to clean house, another possibility is Paul Chryst from Wisconsin. Both are Coordinators that are due Head Coaching jobs.

Kevin Sumlin will be in line for a top 10-15 program if such a position opens after Ohio State. He could have a shot at Penn State if he wants that mess. I'd watch Mack Brown and if he sticks around or is guided to retirement. Sumlin did himself a big favor by not going after the job here and sticking with Keenum. He is gone after this year and Sumlin should be firming his exit strategy as well.

Arizona State is a decent job and should have a shot at a Gary Pinkel or a Mike Bellotti. Maybe even a Mike London would make sense.

I'd be surprised if the PSU guys ever get good jobs again, they are stained

ASU did melt down bad, and they were poised to make a run. They can still somehow win the PAC-12 South tho.

Mike Bellotti sounds like he's going to Arizona. Pinkel maybe, if he sees Mizzou getting killed in the SEC. Mike London's not leaving UVa for Arizona State. He's already one game away from the ACC title game, and winning the ACC is an easier gig then the Pac 10.

If London is smart he cashes his chips really quick and gets out of Charlottesville while he is a commodity. It is tough task to sustain that program with Georgia, Maryland, Virginia Tech, Florida State, etc in your backyard. North Carolina will be decent soon too. London is on his way up if he plays it smart.

Bradley seems like a good coach, but I would be surprised if somone would hire him this soon after the publicity, unless they can get a clean report from a law enforcement outfit which would seem hard to get now. Bradley would have a better shot next year when it is clearer about who knew what.
It is probably completely unfair to everyone on the staff, but if I were an AD there is no way I would want to get my school mixed up in that until there is some clarity on the issue.

In 20/20 hindsight I agree. I believe it will be a year before the situation clears enough for Brradley to be considered for anything above a MAC level job. A MAC level school might take a chance if they thought he would stay 5 yrs.

I think a lot of schools will be turned off by Sumlin's record without Keenum. I wouldn't hire him based on his current body of work, would like to see him sustain success with another QB.

Keenum is the real deal, but it is hard not to be really impressed with an 11-0 record and #8 record at Houston. Seems like nobody wants to move, see Dooley getting hired at Tennessee and Will Muschamp and Al Golden getting two of the big three jobs in Florida. Kevin Sumlin stacks up pretty good next to those guys and I bet his agent is getting calls and will push for him to cash his chips in for the payday.
