Those two def tackles were awesome for Nebraska, can hardly wait to see who Michigan has. We have nobody like that on the Gophers d line. They were Richardson plus several inches and many pounds. Just very solid d linemen, we need about 4 of those.

IF we can't run the ball in these upcoming games we are going to need some trickeration...Halloween is coming up....hopefully that's a good thing. Maybe mix in some "corn night" fun?

I disagree, they didn't show it in the Nebraska game but we have a good defense. We need a dominant d-line to be a great defense but we are very good overall on that side of the ball. The way our secondary has played is made even more impressive by the lack of pass rush or pressure of any kind on the opponents QB. Most of the time that leads to QB's being able to pick a D apart but typically that is not the case against us.

Our defense has been our thing when we are good, and when we're bad. They're banged up now too but up until recently they've been plenty good.

Agree. It was definitely a game to forget, but we we played without two starting DBs, our most productive LB, and a key man in our DL rotation in Keith. Then it didn't help that Murray had his worst game of the year.

We absolutely had a good defense last year and I don't see how anyone could argue otherwise. 33rd in the country in points allowed and 11th in turnovers forced last season.

That's a bit of a sign that our DL can't get to the QB. Don't give up the big one.
