Dawson Garcia returning

How many years does he get, for goodness sake? Is he on the Parker Fox plan? He’s played 5 seasons already and didn’t redshirt or get an injury year, far as I can tell. He used his Covid year, so where would this 6th season come from?

Hello all, just thought I would pass along the credible info I have. Have heard (first hand) that Dawson will be back next year (somehow) and a deal for Medved is very firmly in place. Don’t yell at me, just letting everyone know.
nice work by you, hope it turns out.

He played at a Jr College for two years at summer camp so he gets another year. 😏😉

How many gummies have you had today? 🤔

A 6th year for Dawson? I don’t think that’s possible.

The only thing I can think of is if the NCAA gives him do-over for his second year (at UNC) because he played only half a season before quitting the team. Who knows? There are a number of seniors who are in the transfer portal apparently hoping to get another year because they played one or more at a JUCO. They allowed Diego Pava to not count his JUCO year so that might have opened the floodgates.

Kind of thinking your source may not be quite as credible as you think they are......that said, would be awesome if somehow true on both counts.

He played in 41% (16 of 39) of UNC’s games in 2021-22, which seems well above a do-over threshold, but who the hell knows how the NCAA works.

I’m pretty sure this guy is trolling. As indicated, he’s out of eligibility. More practically, he’s not committing to come back without some specific on a new coach.

Man if this is true I need to dig my sneakers out of the basement. Anyone know what the going rate is for a 6 ft power forward in his mid 50s?

Right --- he received a hardship waiver to play immediately after the transfer. But as far as I know, 30% is the threshold for participation.

Did see something about Rigsby potential having more eligibility. Can't remember where. Anybody else see that or was that a bad source?
