Darren Wolfson: Weber Part of a Strong Group of Returning QBs in the Big Ten

Anyone else sick of my ugly mug? I need to convince Rob/Cory to go with actual player photos instead of my cheesy mug shot.

Doogie what type of pro future do you think Pryor and Weber have?

Stan -- Fisch has been working on Weber's throwing motion, trying to tweak it...let's see how that delivery plays out, but his measurables make him a prospect. As for Pryor, he needs to show me he can throw it better...I actually think Gray, from what I saw in the spring, is a better thrower...but Pryor has time to figure that out...and Pryor is a good enough athlete where maybe he ends up in the NFL in a different role.

Bar none, seeing what Weber has had to work with over the past two years, he is THE elite QB in the Big Ten. Everyone else has had a consistent line and an established offensive coordinator. Considering what he's had to work with, he has great numbers.

Doogie--I haven't ever seen you in person, so I don't know whether the photo makes you look better or worse than you really look, but it appears to have been taken through a peephole. Maybe they could spring for a professional portrait if they are going to keep using it.

Careful, they may do with you what they do with Zgoda. They save his photo until you get to the actual article. I kinda feel sorry for the guy, especially since he seems like a decent BB columnists.

I'm with Frozen on this one. Pryor is probably the best college QB of the group but if I were a pro team and needed to take one of the B10 QB's to start this week, I'm taking Weber and it's not even close.

The start an NFL game this week is a different animal...after being in a non pro-style offense under Dunbar, I would go in a different direction other than Weber.

Well let's go with Pryor's arm being unproven, that may well change but let's assume he gets drafted as a great athlete more so than QB just for arguments sake. I'm guessing pro ready wise you're taking Stanzi or Clark? Which one and why? Not arguing i just want your take.

Good catch...that list is actually a reprint from an April Star Tribune Your Voices blog.

Actually, Lewis isn't mentioned, is he?...Chappell is IU's guy.

I would say that it is definitely an unflattering picture to say the least.
