How you doin'?It is a love based on giving and receiving as well as having and sharing. And the love that they give and have is shared and received. And through this having and giving and sharing and receiving, we too can share and love and have and receive.”
— Joey Tribbiani
I dunno, everyone jumps to money or playing time, and in this case I think we can rule out playing time. But there’s plenty of other unknown factors that could have caused him to transfer other than money. I don’t think it’s right to just assume he’s chasing dollars without some kind of clue. This is a guy that originally committed elsewhere even after visiting here, so maybe he wasn’t completely sold on Minnesota to begin with.I would bet that this is a situation where the player felt he was worth more than the NIL deal he was offered.
I saw the same. Some suggesting tampering going on.I see lots of smoke its Ohio St as a destination. Let's see if that is true.
I think it fairly obvious here. And in no way am I knocking the kid. He needs to do what is best for his own situation. Football careers are very short and the wise grab those $$ opportunities when they present themselves. I bet he ends up at program of higher pedigree and funds than Minny.I dunno, everyone jumps to money or playing time, and in this case I think we can rule out playing time. Fairly obvious based on what? I guess maybe we can jump to that if he ends up at OSU, but also he is from Ohio.I think it fairly obvious here. And in no way am I knocking the kid. He had moments of being very good playing as a FR in the Big 10. Ohio State's OL has been bad this year, I think they'll lose 2-3 people to the draft/graduation and the backups that have played haven't been very good this season when dealing with injuries.Ohio State? Wow, didn’t realize he was of that caliber.
All I’d say is it would be tough to gamble blindly on giving up a P4 starting spot.I saw the same. Some suggesting tampering going on.
I believe he's from Ohio so I can understand taking the chance. All I’d say is it would be tough to gamble blindly on giving up a P4 starting spot.
I’m saying he’s not supposed to know an OSU offer would be available. So it’s pretty risky to gamble a starting gig for a maybe offer from someone closer to home.I believe he's from Ohio so I can understand taking the chance.
I'm going to guess he knows already. It's not supposed to be that way but it absolutely happens.I’m saying he’s not supposed to know an OSU offer would be available. So it’s pretty risky to gamble a starting gig for a maybe offer from someone closer to home.
Maybe Dinkytown Athletes can up the ante for him.I’m saying he’s not supposed to know an OSU offer would be available. So it’s pretty risky to gamble a starting gig for a maybe offer from someone closer to home.
Most P4 teams would take him in a heartbeat, including most SEC teams. Not saying he’d start, but he’d be a great add for most teams. Tough to find experienced p4 olinemen in the portal.I seriously doubt the Ohio State or any SEC program is interested.
Yep he's the 35th ranked overall player in the portal at this time and 5th OL. He's not moving laterally. He played a lot a year after getting on campus. And played pretty well.
He's a higher rated transfer than anyone the Gophers are bringing in.
Tough one to lose.
I seriously doubt you have any idea what you are talking about.I seriously doubt the Ohio State or any SEC program is interested.
Hold on......you are not trying to imply that players not in the portal are being directly contacted by schools right? I just can't believe a team would do something like that.......I saw the same. Some suggesting tampering going on.
I'm sure no tampering will get caught, but if we were to try and get a NDSU player or someone to move up locally we'd get the death penalty.Hold on......you are not trying to imply that players not in the portal are being directly contacted by schools right? I can't even begin to imagine the amount of tampering going on across the country during the portal window.
Sounds about right.I'm sure no tampering will get caught, but if we were to try and get a NDSU player or someone to move up locally we'd get the death penalty.
Has any body heard anything on Tripp? From my neck of the woods so wondering if there is anything gods bad or indifferent.according to the roster - these are the OL (as of today) who have eligibility remaining.
