Bummer but hopefully he can find a fit somewhere else. NFL is a tough business. Jackson is a really solid receiver but he lacks great size or gamebreaking speed so it is going to be a battle for him to stay in the league.

I suggest the Gophers pick up a last second commitment from Jack Danielson ... just keep him away from the close up camera shots and we should be good.

I think you've hit on it. For a guy in Jackson's situation, you need one standout tool (usually size or speed) to make folks take full notice. Still and all, he'll likely be on a practice squad somewhere. He's a solid player who just needs to find a fit.
