U of M dance team takes home national titles in pom, jazz competitions

The University of Minnesota dance team is bringing home some major hardware after competing during a three-day national championship competition in Florida.

The University of Minnesota Dance Team put together a strong showing at the UDA College Nationals held in Orlando, Fla.

A total of 98 dance teams took the stage in the finals on Saturday at the 2023 UCA & UDA College Cheerleading and Dance Team National Championship.

The Gophers, who have a legacy of winning national championships, took top billing in Division IA Jazz and Division IA Pom.
