Edsall is a good coach. UConn was an incredibly difficult place to win. They played their homegames like 45 min drive from campus, it's in recruiting hell, and he was able to constantly put together respectable teams. I think eventually, Maryland will be fine.
That said, they got rid of a pretty good football coach. I think eventually Maryland will be fine, but they returned quite a bit. They returned the ACC freshman of the year at QB, their leading rusher, their tight end, a WR, 4/5 OL and 7/11 defensive starters (and they were coming off of a 9-4 season).
I'd personally rather have Kill.
