Wasn't sure if there was already a thread for posting music news like this.


Sad and shocking. I'd always wanted to but never got a chance to see them live. For my money, one of the very best active country rock outfits in the business.

No! This is just awful news. Saw them a few years back and it was absolutely amazing. I was right down in front of Travis Good. Also the show that introduced me to Justin Towns Earle. Had a chance to chat with the bass player afterward and he was a really nice guy. Dallas cut quite a figure because he was super tall and had on a country/western outfit with rhinestone pot leaves on the lapels.

In addition to The Sadies Dallas did some great work with Neko Case. Damn it....
