Safety from Georgia is now a Gopher after being a Memphis and La Tech commit. UTEP, UCF, Grambling State and Youngston State also offered.

does anyone know why he committed and de-committed to two schools? i like this verbal, no doubt kill will coach 'em up and this is a position of need for us.

Don't know about Memphis, but committing to us over a Conference USA school is a no-brainer, especially when that CUSA school is 9 hours away and you just committed a few days ago.

In checking the Memphis board he apparently backed off Memphis about a week after he committed too. Maybe he gets cold feet?

I don't think he is slow, decent speed, not great, but he has good size and a nose for the ball. I don't know when La Tech offered, but they are a lot better than Memphis so I think he was just moving up the ladder.

I like the agressiveness and the ability to create turnovers (strong hands!).

daletavius, i believe he was a greek god emperor or something.... amirite?

Thanks for clearing that up. I get those Roman and Greek gods confused. They all run together.

Does this mean T. Thompson is a no go for us?

I see Mcghee as a replacement for Nate Andrews at Corner, but I could be wrong. I see him as a big boundary corner. He reminds me of Eric Murray.

I'm hoping he can play CB as well.

I don't know, but Kill did say he was planning on bringing in 4-5 more guys just before McGhee committed, so I think we'd take him if he wanted to come here.

Michigan has Jake Butt and Taco Charlton, however. I'm not sure we can compete with that.

The added benefit of Jake Butt and Taco Charlton is that they could get gay married, and Taco Butt could be an actual thing.

The Butt Taco duo is one to be reckoned with. Look out B1G...Butt Taco is ready to dominate.
