Oops. . .accidentally hit the enter button before I could get the title in; anyway, here it is:
The NCAA put USC, UConn, and the entire SEC on hold so they could concentrate on the scourge of the outlaw programs-SE Missouri State. It’ll be interesting if they get as tough with the above listed programs when their time comes:

Mike DeCourcy opines that Evan Turner might be the best option at point guard for the Buckeyes this season. While Turner’s a wonderful player, I’m intrigued how he would handle the Gophers’ pressure in their showdowns:

When I first heard that Villanova’s Reggie Redding was arrested for a minor marijuana charge, I didn’t blink-I figured he would be suspended through the exhibition games and then reinstated. You have to admire Villanova by sticking to their student conduct code and for Jay Wright publicly supporting the decision. Redding will be missed at the Puerto Rico Classic and against Maryland, but the integrity shown is admirable:
