Gary Parrish presents a very good question-why not Duke? Was Corey Maggette any more eligible than Derrick Rose?

This should be interesting, especially if Robert Montgomery shows up. Any chance he wouldn’t get a jab in somewhere in his speech?

Take a look at the second part of this blog-it doesn’t look like Calipari’s concerned with making friends in the SEC, seeing as how it appears Bruce Pearl thinks he was involved somehow with the Josh Selby de-commit and now Donovan’s former player makes his first stop to Lexington. It sure seems like a lot of Billy D’s recruits transfer out, doesn’t it?

And finally, I don’t know if you’ve followed or even heard the saga of Matt Pilgrim, but it appears to have a happy ending for him. He was one of the players ushered to the curb by John Calipari upon his arrival at Kentucky, even though he wanted to stay. Supposedly he’s pretty talented, it will be interesting to see how he performs in Travis Ford’s free-wheeling system:

Good for Matt P. I've known of him since he was attending UC games as a skinny teenager in the early 2000's when his brother (Mike) was at UC. Mike never played due to academic snafu's but it's good to see the NCAA make a sensible ruling.
