Just an early hunch

that Michigan could be much like the Gophers this season, making a big leap from Year 1 to Year 2. And I'm nut sure UCLA is going to be as elite as they've been the past 3 years, though maybe my opinion will change after tonight.

In most cases I want Big 10 teams to do well during the nonconference season because it helps strength of schedule. But this year, because it's very possible the Gophers could end up on the bubble, I don't want Illinois, Michigan, Ohio State & even Penn State to get any significant wins in November and December. Those are the 4 teams (within the Big 10) most likely to be in direct competition with the Gophers on Selection Sunday.

Manny Harris

I just have a feeling that this is going to be Manny Harris' national coming out party on national tv.
