Dabo details blatant tampering

Well Golding saw the master of busting the rules at work for multiple years so I am sure he picked up a trick or two.

Glad more and more coaches are calling out some of the BS. Only possible way it will ever get brought under control.

Wild West out there. Great story for those that think these kids aren't getting righteous bucks.

Sooo… a player can “re-enter” the portal even though the portal was already closed and he started attending class?

Whoever said there’s going to be a wave of transfers after spring ball despite the fact there’s only one portal window nailed it!

The NCAA has completely given up enforcing anything.

a player doesn’t have to enter the portal to transfer schools

Hundreds of thousands of students transfer every year without ever entering a “portal”

Any movement like this after the portal has closed has to be tampering though don’t it? Or are players/agents allowed to initiate contact with other teams/coaches?

Players are not supposed be contacted by other teams if they aren’t in the portal.

I will bet you one billion dollars some football players transfer in April and May?

You in?
It will be interesting to see. It would be tampering. Whether there is any enforcement who knows, I haven’t heard of may penalties thus far in regards to that. Honestly I feel like the players should be penalized as well if they don’t report it.

Well I feel a lot of things

But what I feel does not equal what will happen

I did not expect to watch that whole video, but I couldn’t stop watching.
Just watched it myself....and holy crap.....kudos to Dabo for going public with it.

What a pathetic mess this has all turned into.

NCAA is going to have to find some way to enforce the tampering rules. Won't be easy unless teams/players/agents are willing to turn over the proof the way Clemson is doing in this case with Ole Miss.

The amount of tampering going on has to be just off the charts. I am sure there are lots of teams being less blatant about it than Ole Miss apparently is but we all know it is going on and there are lots of ways to do it through back channels.

Players like coaches ought to be able to talk to other programs, transfer at any time for any reason within the confines of their signed contracts or suffer the penalties agreed to within said contract.

I’m now convinced nothing will destroy the college football business. We’re all hopelessly addicted and ratings indicate we will tune in even if there is a 1% chance of the team pulling an Indiana. Acceptance is the first step to recovery.

Prove me wrong

Tend to agree

But think there will be exceptions who drop from major to mid major and thus lose ratings

At the end of the day my number one hope is MN always remains at the same level as Iowa and Wisconsin and continues to play them every year.

I thought coaches couldn't discuss the money with the players? This guy made the offer. And people think Kiffin is scum. This guy is no better.
